Come brush up your strings skills at our Summer Strings Clinic!
This one week camp is designed to help violin, viola, and cello students improve their technique and receive additional instruction in elements of string playing, including:
- Introductory music theory: identifying keys, interval training and more
- Chamber music
- Music history

Intro to Music June 17-21 & June 24-28 Pre-K, 10:00-11:00am K-1st, 11:00am-12:00pm 2nd-3rd, 12:00-1:00pm
Cost: $150, $120 for M@M students Come enjoy a week of music fun, filled with singing, games and instruments! This camp teaches the elements of music through singing, playing, exploring and moving. Your child will experience beat, rhythm, melody, form, harmony and expressive qualities through movement and group music making. This class also incorporates recorders Orff instruments. Orff instruments are a fun and engaging way for students to play in an ensemble, also giving them a developed sense of timing, listening skills and concentration. Students will need to bring a water bottle.
Musical Theater Scenes July 15-26, 9:30am-2:30pm Cost: $350, $300 for M@M students Final Performance - July 26@ 3pm This two week camp is designed with performance in mind - students will prepare scenes from musical theater shows while learning the basics of acting, singing, and stage movement that will culminate in a final performance for friends and family. No audition required; students will need to bring lunch and a water bottle.
